Elliott 35
Super Sport
Powerpacked Peformance
Get into, or, get back to, what sailing is all about - fun, fast, easy and affordable.
Launched in September 2012, Crusader stunned the local yachting fraternity with an impressive first outing where she smashed almost 2hrs off the under 10.66mtr class record during the Coastal Classic Yacht Race from Auckland to Russell.

Designed by Elliott Marine and built by Salthouse Boatbuilders, the Elliott 35 Super Sport is the latest collaboration between the two iconic New Zealand companies.

Both Greg Elliott and Greg Salthouse have a strong belief that yachting should be fun, should be fast, should be easy and in this day n age, should definitely make economic sense.  With this in mind, they set about creating the design and build package that is now the E35 Super Sport.

The latest build technology provides a strong and rigid boat capable of handling the exhilarating speed of this light displacement yacht.  A clever deck layout coupled with the advantage of a canting keel, allows for a variety of crew options that can be dictated by this boat's short-handed, inshore or offshore racing capability.
By design, all systems, including the hydraulically canted keel, retractable bow pole, canard and running rigging, are technically simplified ensuring that the E35ss is not challenging to sail fast. Key factors of Elliott's latest evolution of design are uncomplicated high speed racing performance, flexibility in crew numbers, the provision of a stylish sports interior, all the while maintaining economic sense!

One major point of difference for the E35ss is its broad category rating.  The E35ss is designed for performance, and not restricted by any rating rule constraints.  Those wanting to campaign on the coastal and offshore circuit are no longer limited to just that; grand prix racing can also be added to the mix.  The E35ss structural designs have ISAF plan approval and exceed ISO Category A & ISAF Category 1 regulations. Furthermore, due to high sailing speed it will prove competitive under IRC, particularly in coastal and offshore racing.
