52ft  Classic Launch
Trinidad was launched in 1964 but is a regular visitor to the Salthouse yard where she comes for a bit of affection from the staff to keep her looking youthful.
She is maintained to a high standard by her current owners and has been retro-fitted over the years with all the accessories found on modern boats. But although she now has a gen-set, microwave oven, radar, computers, and auto pilot, to name a few, she is still powered by her trusty Gardner diesel engine that ambles along at leisurely 9 knots at an economical 1300rpm.
Constructed of triple skin Kauri she was built to last decades and has completed two Tasman crossings and a North Island circumnavigation on her own bottom.

With her classic lines and striking varnish work, Trinidad is a real head-turner on the harbour and a much admired classic on the Auckland waterfront.
